The FoR Team

Each year the festival is supported by the guest speakers, Q&A hosts, filmmakers and super marketing and production assistants. We believe in paying for work - and thus do not offer any voluntary positions.

Nico Marzano (Founder/Artistic Director) curates the Film Programme at the Institute of Contemporary Arts in London (ICA) bringing a unique programme of independent and socially relevant films to UK audiences. While hosting industry debates, masterclasses and Q&As with contemporary international artist and filmmakers, Nico has also served on international film festival juries for Venice Film Festival and London Film Festival amongst others. Nico has been a guest lecturer at Birkbeck University of London and Kingston University, and delivered papers and keynote speeches for agencies including Europa Cinema, Alternativa Forum in Barcelona and other international film festival forums. Nico contributes to various academic film journals with film reviews and film theory essays.

Luke W Moody (Co-Founder) is Director of Film Programming at Sheffield Doc/Fest and former Head of Film at BRITDOC. His work is underlined by a strong commitment to the interdisciplinary space where art, documentary cinema and anthropology converge.
